The AFROBoomer’s Salon is an online community of forward thinking individuals freeing themselves from outdated paradigms on aging. Living outside of societal strictures that dictate what your life should be at a certain age, requires self-confidence and self-compassion, courage and creativity, vision and proactivity.
Agelessness, the adjective used to describe someone whose age cannot be defined or appears not to change, has nothing to do with the calendar. It’s a state of mind, a way of moving through life without being bound by fear and limitation or “not at my age” thinking. By reframing what it means to age, we’re poised to prove that life gets sweeter when you embrace the process. We count the blessings—not the years!
